Short-term goals:

To provide well-needed equipment to various teams/organizations

• Balls

• Nets

• Scorebooks

• Uniforms

• Whistles

• Training materials, etc.

Mid-Term goals:

• Organize training workshops for players, coaches and referees in various counties

• Identify talented players who we may be able to sponsor to come to the USA to attend basketball camps and get exposure to coaches scouting for colleges and professional teams. (This could result in a number of players getting scholarships and possibly eventually being recruited to play on a professional level with the NBA and WNBA, as with other sports such as soccer and football.)

• Arrange to have talented players come to the USA and play in exhibition matches against the Liberian players here in the USA. We would invite recruiters to observe these players and this will provide an excellent scouting opportunity for colleges and professional teams.

• Organize workshops for these players to go back and share the knowledge acquired from this experience with other players in Liberia.

Long-Term goals:

• Generate funding to assist in facility renovation and development throughout Liberia.

• To develop a comprehensive basketball program that will put Liberia on the map of international competitors.

* Many of the above goals will be ongoing as needed. Other ongoing efforts include fundraising activities and membership drives throughout the USA in order to increase awareness of the organization, generate revenues to implement these initiatives and expand the organization’s membership.
