is winding down now and we are
looking forward to having you
participate in the tournament
this year. Please help us spread
the word print the
FSLB '09 Tournament
linked flyer
and hotel info to your friends
and family. Please print copies
and hand them out at the various
graduations and school reunions
you will be attending or send
them via email or post them on
your high school or
miscellaneous association
websites, my space or facebook
sites – ANYTHING to get the word
out.
Also, if
you have a son or friend who
wants to play in the youth game
and you haven’t yet provided us
with their info, please don’t
forget to do so ASAP. The youth
game will be the first on the
schedule so it is important that
you come on time this year. We
don’t want to have a repeat of
last year where some people
brought their sons too late to
have an opportunity to play.
We ask everyone to be respectful
of the game schedule. It is
critical that ALL teams arrive
on time because we must adhere
to the schedule in order for all
games to be played. Each team
will have a 5-minute grace
period. If you are late, your
team will have to forfeit that
game.

Everyone
will need to sign the
FSLB '09 Waiver Form.
Please
print a copy, sign it and bring
it with you. As with last year,
the player registration fee for
adults is $30 and kids, $10
however, if you are now ready to become
a full-fledged, active member
of the organization and really
help to be involved in our
efforts to give back to our
youth at home, we encourage you
to pay the annual
MEMBERSHIP
fee of
$100. This covers your player
registration, entitles you to
not only vote but also to run
for an elected office if you so
desire. You will also be
entitled to a discount on FSLB
paraphernalia sold at the games
but more importantly, your
contribution will go towards
helping the basketball program
in Liberia
which is relying on us for
assistance.
If you wish to register to
play, attend the awards
ceremony/party (tickets can be
purchased in advance for the
discounted price of $20), or
make a donation, please feel
free to do so and indicate the
purpose of your contribution. We are
counting on you for your
